About Us - Safety
It is our policy to strive for the best Health and Safety condition achievable. Excellent Health and Safety
Conditions do not occur by chance. It is a result of careful attention to all company operations by the
NMIS staff. We recognize our responsibility and obligation to protect the human, physical, and financial
resources of both the Company and the client.
It is our belief that all accidents occur as the result of a specific cause or causes and are therefore
preventable. Accident prevention shall be considered of primary importance in all phases of operation
and administration. We intend to minimize and prevent unnecessary accidents which cause pain and
suffering. Total injury and illness prevention is a goal worth striving for.
A healthy and safe operation is organized, clean, and efficient. As long as all NMIS employees view
accidents in the same way we consider other aspects of our operations, we will all be in a better position,
not only to control accidents, but to also improve the total performance of our company. It is therefore
of utmost importance for the Safety Manager to assure that all aspects of our health and safety program
be adhered to and that the intent of this program be followed. Recommendations to improve our
health and safety program are always encouraged
Our health and safety program has been developed to assure compliance with Federal, State, and Local
regulations with particular emphasis on the occupational health and safety rules. It is the obligation
of everyone to be knowledgeable of the standard established by these agencies and to implement the
rules and regulations contained therein.
